Celebrating Innovation at cic and SeaAhead Demo Days
Every demo day is a moment to celebrate entrepreneurs and their brilliance and hard work. We are so privileged to have a front row seat to their great ideas. That’s why working with innovation programs and watching them graduate is one of the highlights of our year.
As an innovation program partner to SeaAhead and Cambridge Innovation Center, we have the privilege of coaching founders in the art and science of pitching, branding, and commercialization design. Once they graduate, these founders have the tools they need to effectively bring their big ideas to the market.
We had a busy day in Cambridge last month celebrating THREE graduating cohorts at their Demo Day events!
At Boston’s Seaport district, SeaAhead wrapped their sixth BlueSwell cohort and their inaugural Pilot Program. These cohort programs are designed to support founders as they turn unique innovations into scalable ocean impact.
BlueSwell Cohort VI developed leadership in early stage startups who are engineering resilience at every layer of the blue economy. And the first ever SeaAhead Pilot program was designed to connect pilot-ready founders with partners, so they can launch powerful innovations around a theme of Costal Resilience and Coastal Asset Protection. We loved hearing from all of these incredible companies at BlueSwell Demo Day and the Pilot Showcase on June 25th.
Meanwhile in Cambridge, we wrapped another year with CIC’s Social Impact Cohort, a program that supports small organizations led by historically underserved entrepreneurs based in Massachusetts. From education to womens health to sustainable recycled umbrellas, these incredible founders showed innovative brilliance and determination at their demo day. We loved having the opportunity to coach them in their pitches this year and cheer them on at their demo day, also on June 25th!
Our heartfelt congratulations go out to all the graduating founders as they set out on the next stage of their journey. We can’t wait to see where they go next!
