Confident and humble. You know how to advocate for creative decisions and are comfortable defending those decisions to clients. You’re not afraid to challenge your own assumptions in service of the best outcomes for a project.
Team players. You know how to manage your own projects and workload, and you can work in a group to move projects forward. You can take direction but also aren’t afraid to challenge yourself and others.
Strategically-minded. You don’t just “make things pretty.” You write or design with a purpose and systems in mind. Your creative choices keep the client’s business goals top-of-mind. Your portfolio should demonstrate your process and the reasoning behind your decisions.
