CENTER FOR DYNAMIC LEARNING

scaling WORKFORCE training FOR at-risk YOUTH.

For two decades, The Center for Dynamic Learning (CDL) has provided accessible workforce training programs for at-risk youth in Rhode Island. We helped them revisit their mission and develop a new website that clarifies how they serve their community.

CHALLENGE

Over the years, CDL has expanded from a traveling arts program to a shining example of diverse, accessible career readiness programs for RI youth. This milestone anniversary offered a chance to update their website with clarified offerings and a celebration of their work.

INSIGHT

Your website is the cornerstone of your digital presence, where you can control your own narrative and how you’re perceived. Keeping it up-to-date is essential as your business changes, so anyone can easily find out who you are and what you offer.

IMPACT

CDL’s new website is created to connect with a diverse audience of funders, families, schools, and students. We designed it to honor their 20-year history and serve as a central place to discover who they are and everything they offer.

01 / design sprint

Collaborating on a clear narrative.

CDL’s 20th anniversary provided the perfect opportunity to step back, clarify who they are, and position themselves for the next phase of growth. To capture their expanding audience, first we had to find the singular story they wanted to tell.

Over the course of our 4-week sprint, we worked with CDL to get to the heart of who they are. From there, we developed a clear communication strategy and a user-friendly website experience. Our collaborative process made room for everyone at the table, empowering CDL’s team to take ownership of the final product.

02 / WEB DESIGN

Designing a website for every audience.

Since their humble beginnings as a traveling arts education program, CDL has expanded to offer so much more. Their hands-on STEAMM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math, and manufacturing) learning experiences equip young people for today’s evolving workforce, from the littlest learners to high school students.

We crafted a one-stop shop website that speaks to families, schools, and funders. Our playful yet professional design is inspired by their two decades of work, while renewing their commitment to a bright future for Rhode Island’s youth.
